On Wednesday 4/1/2009 at approximately 12:23am we experienced a problem with Virtual host mvs04. The problem appears to have been related to one of the following: Defective or temporarily dysfunctional backup hardware A problem with the monthly backup software/configuration A server update related to mitigation of the pending Conficker worm In addition, for the past 24 hours there has been an issue with slow responses to the MAIL FROM command, from remote servers attempt... A minor service interruption occurred today for all email/webmail users. For a period of about 1 hour, service was intermittent due to a patch/upgrade deployment which made some unanticipated configuration changes.
